Second Solar Bid
I received my second solar bid this morning via email from Brent Gundersen of Gen-Con: $10,320 net after rebates and incentives. The first bid was higher at $11,920. The third company I tried to contact for a bid wanted to charge me for the privilege, so I’m still looking for another company willing to step up on my roof.
To be fair, there were differences in the hot water systems. Mr. Sun Solar bid with a 120 single water tank, whereas Gen-Con bid a two tank system, using my current 40 gallon as the back-up.
I’m trying to decide which water system would be better in the Pacific Northwest. If you have personal experience with either or both, please let me know.
